Trailer Protection

Wouldnt it be easier to add the 1/4 when you sell only if you needed it? Not trying to be a wise guy, but just picked up a 27' vnose and am up in the air on what to do. I did get Caliber grip system guides and think it may be enough?

What are you guys doing underneath the trailer for salt protection on the axles and frame if steel?

I did the same thing Teamblue did, 1/4" ply over everything in my 7x27 Legend. I am going into my 4th season and the plywood is chewed up a bit, but still in good condition. When I sell the trailer I will remove the ply and have a perfect factory floor underneath. The trailer will look like new.

My intensions were to cover the axle with an udercoating of some sort. Well season came quickly and didn't get to it the first year, or the second year. So now I get to blast or wire wheel the thing before I coat it. Make sure to antiseize the brake components, I would do it before the season, then after the season, pull the drums and clean, re-antiseize for storage.
