My manual states not to top off the tank when trailering, because it can cause a vapor lock. Anyone had this issue, I naturally want to fuel up before heading to a destination. Real concern there or what.
Thanks in advance.

I've never trailered with a full tank with my 03 Rx1, can cause a vapor lock and can even cause a hydraulic lock.Just my .02

In my case, I do trailer quite often with full fuel. However, like a lot of other members on this site, I installed fuel shut-off valves. This worked fine for a couple of seasons, then the valves began leaking. So I removed them and went back to the original fuel line set-up. Now, I just pinch-off the lines with general purpose (spring loaded) clamps, while trailering to avoid any potential problems as stated in the owners manual.

Good thing I don't read much. I've been trailering sleds with full fuel for 20 years. I've never had any fuel related problems. Plus, full tanks don't have condensation problems.

I trailer my sleds everywhere and have never had a problem. I would think fuel sloshing around and getting frothy would do more harm....if any.
X2 on the condensation.

just wondering if keeping the kill switch off would eliminate this, or is that electronic as well.

The best thing to do is trailer it empty as far as you can, then fuel up as close to your destination as possible.

Add a set of fuel shutoffs and turn them off when trailering. Peace of mind. I know someone who encountered hydraulic lock on his RX1, very expensive fix.
