To help with wt. transfer I need to replace the LOWER spacer on the transfer rods with smaller spacer (I have a 2.5 MM) , correct? any drawbacks to doing this ?

you want to change the upper spacer with a smaller for more transfer ..if your reduce the lower it will let the skid fallout farther and also let the suspension travel more before it links....

Or you could just adjust the nuts up higher, let out the straps.

The upper side has a 2.5 MM - O.E. There was some posts about changing the lower spacer to a 5MM or less. I know about the adjuster nuts - have the Maximum "hand job" nuts installed, but always looking for more

If you want less front end dive when decelerating you install a thinner lower washer!!
On my warrior they were 10mm.. I cut them down to 5mm..
