While apart, I will be sending my primary to MicroBelmont to have Gary true and balance the clutch There is belt wear around the clutch.
Any thoughts on this good or bad?

Yikes, sounds kinda dangerous to me. I've not done it, but to machine the faces down much is going to weaken them and blown up clutches at 10,000 rpm are never a good thing. How much would it be to just replace the sheaves? If it wasn't a rediculous amount I would replace them before I tried to machine them. Talk to some drag guys, they may have lightened them up and know how much is safe to remove before you risk failure. Keep us posted!

Microbelmont does good work but I think its a waste of money for what your going after. That small groove in the bottom of the sheeve dont hurt anything. If anything I would deglaze the faces with some light sanding, then clean them up good. ===SRXSRULE===

There is about .025 deep grooves all the way up about 1/3rd the way up.
Sled is all stock, stock clutching also.

Well...If the sled is under warranty I would talk to your dealer. I have got clutches warrantied before. PS, I woulndt take more then .010 off the faces if it was me. ===SRXSRULE===
You can gain as much as 5mph on top end trueing even a clutch with a few hundred miles some tend to warp right away.

The yammi srx rx1 belt is very hard,and it does make grooves in sheave faces,just off engagement,i tried to have mine replaced under warrenty in 03 but a dealer that i talked to said it was normal,and would be next to impossible to get warrenty from yammi,it wont give you any balance problems the way it is,but if you feel better having your clutches machined go for it,it wont hurt,and i have done it a few times with no problems,plus our clutches dont run any where near 10,000 rpms anyway more like 8,500 clutch speed,but weather running speed sheeve or balancing clutches,i have never seen 5 mph increase,past my very best speed,not saying it cant happen,just never has for me... 
mmsnnowbeast I didn't sy from balancing or speed sheave I saisd trueing which means trueing the sheaves because they warp.
