Trying to start up after 2+ years

Tried to start the beast up with a fresh 5 gallons of gas. When the sled got parked I had a hole in the exhaust and it would stall out when I tried to start it. I emptied the gas tank and went on with my long term repairs. Now that the sled is up and running I tried to start it up and it does nothing but crank and crank. Here is a picture of the dash of what I'm seeing. I'll post a video shortly.

Went into the diagnostic mode and there where no codes from what i could tell. I held the 2 buttons, ign on, held more till d1 came up, released and pressed, scrolled to 60 and said 00 on it. Continued to try to fire it up and all i got out of it was a small ignition off of one cylinder.
 
fuel pump starts up, I tried to pull the plugs but i can't get a hand in there to pull the caps off. Any tips on getting the plugs out?
 
If you've got the stock plugs in yet the caps can be a real PIA to get off. I used a stiff putty knife. Get it under the edge of the cap and pry it up, rotate around the cap and repeat. It will take awhile so be patient.
 
Got one off. Snapped the second one off and can't get a handle on it anymore. Ready to sell the sled any forget this sport. Maybe my channies will get the thing off...here's to 50-80 more dollars on the sled.

Pay not attention to my annoying voice. The spark looked weak to me and sporadic.
 
Unbolt the gas tank and move it back or take it off to bet better access to the plugs and caps.
The intermittent spark in the vid could be from the poor grounding of the plug just sitting on the metal.
Is it me or is that sled turning over slowly?? How new is the battery?
 
Just put in the battery but it could be drained a bit from trying to crank it over.
 
sounds like a weak battery to me.
 
What voodo child said, and I find it works well to twist and lift up on the plug boot simultaneously to work them out. They can be a bear to remove with limited access.
A smear of dielectric grease on the top of the barrel of the boot when re-installing helps for next time.

I was complaining to a Co worker this morning about it and he recommended the same thing. For sure getting some when I get new plugs.
 
Don't think it's supposed to look like this...pair of channel locks did the trick though! Spirit renewed!!!

I went a little too hard with the crowbar :cool::oops:... ordering a new one tonight. We will see this weekend hopefully if it was just bad plugs.
 
Put some motor oil down the spark plug holes
