Even though this is a Yamaha site I thought that it would be appropriate to post this news regarding a true snowmobile racing legend.
Looks like today was the day for Tucker to announce that he's hanging up his helmet.
Kudos to him and his support team to go out on top and to have set the standard for professional SnoCross racing.
It's quite an achievement for him to haved raced for as many years as he has and to be as competitive as he's been over the years.
Here's a quote from his webpage along with a link to the official announcement:
Hibbert leaves the sport as the most decorated racer in snocross history. He began racing snowmobiles as an amateur at age 8, won his first X Games gold medal at 15 and turned professional at age 16. In his 18 years as a professional snocross racer, Hibbert won 138 of the 235 Pro National events he entered in addition to 11 Pro Championship titles, 10 X Games gold medals and two World Championship titles.
