hi guys i`am looking for an exact measurement for the brackets that hold the small wheels and the axle they are mounted on at the rear of the tunnel on ltx models the axle or shaft that holds these small wheels are actually mounted to the tunnel itself not the skid.i`am installing an extension kit and i`am going to install this axle and small set of wheels so it will be essentially the same set up as an ltx and need to know exactly where to rivet these brackets (one per side ) on my tunnel that will mount this shaft to ,make sense? thanks for any help.

These are the brackets that not only support the axle but also the tunnel extension. A bit pricey at about $70.00 a pop but that's normal for Yamaha. Might not be a bad idea to just use these as they will set everything as it was intended to be. I'm sure there will be existing holes that are common from the shorty to the Attak/LTX. I believe I remember a machined clearance on the heat exchanger fins (the underside of the boards) simular to where the stock shorty rear suspension bolts go. There is a second set of clearance grooves rearward, and I believe that is the location of the upper axle for the Attak/LTX.
