Tunnel Polishing

wet sanding sounds like the way to go but i use a powerball mini and autosol for the first 2-3 steps then a liquid polish for the last couple steps and a good cleaning wax to clean it all up works good for me... see avatar also stock handlebar risere come up real nice as well as the break handle

i should also add that the mini powerball makes it easy to re do again mid season to keep up the shine, once its done the up keep is nothing, dont let anyone tell you different

Did you guys worry at all about the VIN and other informational stickers that are on the tunnel? Dumb question, but I thought about doing it to mine, but wasn't sure if it would be a good idea to loose the info.

Stickers came off the sled the day it came home.
As for the vin. On a sunny day and that side is facing the sun you can not see it anyway due to the glare

ya i worried about them at first too but then i said the heck with it and peeled them off anyways (all of them) just do it nate007 it will look AWSOME with your apex its chrome looking anyways and like i said earlier do the factory risers not many people notice but i know mine is done and it looks good to me, when i changed my snowflap i polished the new rivits
