Ok the real test was this weekend !
With excellent results , hardly any ice build up smell has finally dissipated ,heat dissipated well the top part (outer ) melted off and was only warm to the touch.
I was breaking trail though 2' of powder so no shortage of snow !
Also noticeably quieter !
