Instructions say to drive a self tapping screw to secure them. With the screw on the snow flap end, no length is given. I don’t want to screw through the tunnel.

Any thoughts on driving a set screw through it and stopping it on the flat part of the exchanger? Will the screw wear a hole in the exchanger from vibration?

They are held on with adhesive, they slide in from front then put in screw and slide foward until it stops, the screw just keeps them from being pulled back forward do to contact with track, do not screw into flat ask me how I know lol
