Is that the factory colors on your seat or did u have it re-covered?

That's the stock seat on the 2011 XTX

I'm going to hold off on an in-depth how-to guide until I see how it holds up this winter, as I stated before, I really have no clue what to expect so I don't want to waste anyone else's time.

How many coats did you use? also, did you dip the running boards as well?

I put on 4 coats and used 4 cans. And i plasti dipped the back of the running boards but where i stand i just installed some better boards and those are powder coated

Okay, it looks great! I think 4 cans should be enough, it can always be touched up at the end of the season!

Awesome job boss! I'm sure you started something here.

I know a guy that does wraps for motorsport vehicles. He can put any design to a wrap. I'm going to have him make me some new decals for my 96 VMAX4 that are no longer available from Yamaha. I think I'll get a quote for a tunnel wrap similare to what you did here for my Nytro. I like the polished tunnel look but this looks even better and would protect the polished tunnel!

I want to find a red and black seat like deepfrz has on his sled. It would match my sled perfectly. Mine came with a solid black seat if anybody would like to trade?
