Turbo head gaskets

Travis, your opinion on lower C/R creating a noticeable increase in lag is wrong. Comparisons all last season have proven that.

lag??

No lag with good front mount turbo!!
Blowoff valve is open at idle to help with spoolup
Ask some of the guys that ran there RX1's against my Vector at whistler,BC Big Dawg shootout.
Can crack throttle open from idle and still beatup rear mounts easy.
Vector Compression ratio 8.38 to 1 !!
Rx1 starts to get a little lag if you go below 9.11 to 1 at high altitude.
As for Head spacers never had one leak that i built yet.
If flame front with spacer doesn't make same power as putting in pistons then crank the boost 1/4 lb more as if you could ever notice.

Best is to setup Cam lobe centers so no over lap and you will see more power at lower boost!!
When the barn door is open the horses run away!! Overlap??

I have to agree with 3 head gaskets, when the throttle lever hits the handle bars the boost is on, its as qiuck as my reaction time, the only lag I had was in getting traction would have to feather the throttle first 200 ft. to get it to start hooking up, I actually wonder if alittle lag might help with the hook up.

Don't think lag, if thats what it really is, will ever help the traction issue. What would be needed is boost control. Start out with 2-3 lbs and work up to what ever level your going to run.
