Well I just put the stage 2 Powderlites turbo on a Nytro, and I can't get it to fire. Fuel pressure is just below 50 psi, all plugs got spark, all connections seems to be correct. Motor turns over just fine..BUT, it will not start. Whiteish smoke coming out of air filter?
I'm really lost....

Yes I did. I checked the timing too, but at this point, I'm keeping all options open. Cam timing 180 of is the only this I can think of. If nobody has another suggestion I'm pulling the head....again

CHECK YOUR CRANKING COMPRESSION. IF TIMED WRONG YOU WILL GET WIERD READINGS. NO NEED TO PULL THE HEAD, JUST THE CAMS. PULL YOUR VALVE COVER AND CRANK THE ENGINE FROWARD BY HAND AND FOLLOW THE 4 STROKE CYCLE. START AT TDC #1 ONE CYLINDER. d
DON`T KNOW ABOUT THE NYTRO BUT THE RX MOTOR TIMES WITH #1 CYLINDER TO THE MAG SIDE. HOPE THIS HELPS

That happens when wrenching at night time LOL.
We did screw up one of the valve shims in a friends Apex once wrenching and drinking at the same time early saturday morning, fired but would not idle without throttle and the idle was erratic...DUH one of us had accidentally tipped to head too much to have a look at the valves..... Grrrrrrrrr about the same amount of work as in your sled.
Have you fixed it? How's she running?
See ya buddy

In the prosess of putting it back together, but decided not to take the motor out this time....the chain tensioner is a PITA to get to when you don't take the engine out, and I need some more tools to get to the unbrako screws on the tensioner....I REALLY miss wrenching on the Apex and RX-1 now....the SC intsall on the RX should go REALLY smooth after doing a Nytro....

Well, the sled fired just fine, and ran good. What worries me is that the AF readings said 14,5 and would not change no matter how much you where on and off the throttle...even at idle it was 14,5. Fuel pressure was fine at 45.
And then, when we gave it enough throttle to start the turbo spinning, it came on good, but when he let off the throttle, the sled just dies instantly.
It fired again, and ran fine. Then, same thing happens again. Boost comes on, he lets off the throttle, sled dies.
Now it will not fire again. Not even a bit. No error codes, nothing. Engine turnes over fine, but it almost seems like there's no ignition. Could it have fouled plugs? Seems strange, but that's the closest I can come to a conclusion...
And, any idea why the AF reading wont change?

Check the power wire for the A\F meter. It needs a good power source to preheat the heater in the O2.

I think the timing is good now.
The power wire is conected with the power wire to the oil return pump, and the oil return pump is constantly running....
could it be some map problems? Map sensor?

found the problem with the AF. The plugs weren't conected properly in the back of the meter. Got that fixed now, but still wont fire...
