Has anyone added a turbo to a standard 121 Apex ? Is it worth it, or would it be just a waste with a 121 track ?

It does work, no doubt. But a 121 hooking up wants to put the skis to the air, not hooking up it spins like (unstudded) crazy. I did go to 136 studded right away. One of my friends studded his Attak shortly after he turboed it to get better traction. Another friend ran his 275 HP Apex 121 unstudded last year, he is now stretching it to 136 for the increased stability and hookup. He is still going to run it unstudded (I wonder for how long?) We ride mostly trails, lakes and rivers, with some off trail and mountain riding on occations.

My 121 full of nails has no problem hooking up. All depends on what you want to do. Im a trail rider and lake racer. I wanted the short track for higher top end speeds. I also prefer the shortie for trail riding corners a little easier. The shorties are fast as hell just keep a 1.25" track under it and some decent studs. I think you want it to spin a little anyways its a little easier on the drive line. My drivers were toast after a season of abuse.
