I know there has been several threads on this subject. What I would like to know is what people think will last longer under similar conditions and boost, Turbo or SC? The reason I ask is if i put this much money into a sled I want it to last for more then 2000 miles!
Any other positives and negatives to help me out would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Treat either one with care, feed them good fuel, and both will give you many trouble free miles.
You will have to perform more frequent maintenance on the SC with belt tension etc. I think I read in the instructions they recommend checking the belt tension every 100 miles or so? SC oil changes?
Turbo has no maintenance.

you will have some issues with either set-up, most are self-induced - hehehehe

A super has its limits per stage where a turbo has more room for greed and big altitude changes. You will love boost and want more. Dont limit yourself and order up a small kit, thats what boost knobs are for. DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!!! Who is going to return your calls when you have troubles. thats the kit to buy
)
Dave at powderlites makes one of the best kits and always answers the phone. There is an mcx and a boondocker kit in our group and neither run like mine. I run 18-20 grams per arm on the same boost 10-12 lbs

Check the belts on a SC? I never did in 1500 miles this year. It was turn key literally. I only had one mishap where I installed a larger fuel pump and forgot to increase the amperage of the fuse. Thats it. Otherwise I took it on back pack trips started it up early cold mornings, just put in 91 and go. It doesn't even burn any oil.
They have thier plus's and minus but I went with the SC for pounding rough trails. Only turbo I would consider would be ulmers for a nytro on a trail application.
Mountain riding I would go turbo.

If you like trail riding and throttle response go with the Supercharger! I had a Turbo last year and it had a lot a lag compared to the SC.

I have a Nytro MTX and mostly interested in deep snow. I would like the sled to last many miles but make around 200-220 hp on pump gas. That could change though.
