I want to get some serious hp from an Apex MTX SE but not sure if I should go turbo or supercharge. I want it to be reliable and not have to mess around with it every time I ride. Any advice or suggestions ???

I was in the same situation last year.. and did hundreds of hours of reseach.. i went with the mcx rear mount... there is a lot of people out there that will say one is better than the other.. but it all comes down to what you want as far as overall performance and what you will be doing with the sled.. I have ridden both turbo and super on the apex.. and both are nice.... do a little research with the search function... read up on both of them.. and pick one.. you will not regret boost.. :4STroke:

MCX is the only way to go ! I took a lot of time and effort and got everything as close to perfect as i could and it has payed off. I have close to 1000km on it and it has not missed a single beat. It has been flawless ! Lots of good guys to help make it perfect from the beginning. I have the 07/08 kit on a 06. Make sure you do the same. I think the 07 up kit is just that much better from MCX. Don't waste your time with the SC, MPI never did get it right !

I have an MCXPress Turbo Apex for sales in the classifieds. You can test ride it this weekend at Rabbit Ears if ya want.

I'll take your apex on trade. Runs on pump gas. Set up for CO riding by www.haboost.com

You gonna be at the Ears next wknd? I'll swap you a little seat time on a Nytro. Would like to feel an MC to help decide which way on the Nytro.

MCX Rearmount turbo, 312 hp kit with low compression pistons. Runs flawlessly on regular pump fuel. Needs lotsa air (not lotsa gas)...if you're continually boondocking in 4 feet of powder or riding sub minus 15 get the bigger K and N; if it's wet, take it in at night to dry out so it's not a block of ice the next day.
A $50. Yamaha circulating block heater might be a consideration for the cold days.
Otherwise I could talk endlessly about how much I love this set-up.
Get a taller riser, buy a warmer jacket and throw away the seat; you won't be sittin' down until you're back at the truck waiting for your buddies to catch up.
