Looking for feedback on what setups you have found to work well with the heelclicker two-speed weights. It looks like the black spring might be the way to go with a bolt in all three holes, but want to see if anyone has experience running this setup. This is for an 06 Apex GT. Thanks!!

This set up is best found by searching for "drag&fly" or a version of those words. You will find Turk recommending to me a set up that works well and some discussion around it.

if that set up does not work go with 1 bolt 1 washer in heel / black hc spring & rest of weight empty.

Keep em coming! Has anyone actually ran these and dialed theirs in or were these setups to try? Yes we all will miss Turk. If this question isn't up his alley I don't know what is. I am trying these weights because he liked them so much. Thanks guys!

I'm using his first suggestion at the moment.
My sled is not broken in yet so I will see then for sure.
But the way it sits now the first setup works very well.
He told me he tried all kinds of setups and these were the two he told me to try.

The white spring worked the best with all the testing we have done! The set up that heelcliker gives u works the best from evrything that we tried. Start with that and add waight as u need it. The black spring was much slower for us.

I am buying a used set so I may not have their recommended setup. Do you know what it is for an 06 apex?Mad Russian said:The white spring worked the best with all the testing we have done! shoulder = just a black allen bolt, center = same, tip =no bolts and the white spring. If your sled is stock then this should work great. Give it a try.

im running one bolt, 2 washers in heel. everything else is empty. using the black hc spring. once the 11 broke in this set up was not good for me anymore as my holeshots were terrible with the extra power it would seem. I was told to run a y-s-y this year. see how that does.
i also talked to randy at supertorquer and although it does say not to add more than 2 washers to any area you can add a 3rd for sure, maybe a 4th but will need a longer screw. Im thinking of leaving the black spring in and chcking the clearance with the 3rd washer on to help tame the holeshot.

I'm not a big fan of that white spring for trail riding. I used it for a while with the drag-n-flies and found the engagement too high for my liking. If it was faster for you, I am tempted to go back to it though. What setup with the black spring did you try that was slower?
