The Manitoba Ride.
Was a great time with the group. We staged from Pinawa again this year.
Day1. Perfect weather to head to West Hawk Lake for lunch at Hi-Point Restaurant. On the way we drove thru Whitemouth, Elma and Falcon Lake. On the way back we headed thru the Whiteshell passing Rene, Bereton Lake, White Lake and Betula Lake before crossing Eleanor Lake back to the motel.
Day 2. A blustery start as we went to Pine Falls to have lunch at Chicken Chef. Stopped in at a few warm up huts/shelters along the way including Rudy's, Anson's, Alf's (under construction due to the large forest fires of 2025) and Jocye's.
Day 3. Was a later start due to the cold weather. We stopped on the Seven Sisters Power Station for a short break and pics before heading to Drifters for lunch. On the way back we took in the sights of the old Pinawa Generating Station and Dam and stopped in at King's Kookout for a quick rest stop.
As always lots of smiles per mile.
A big thank you to Zombo the "Trail Marker King" for encouraging us to revive the Manitoba Ride. Oh, and Joe.. The Pine Falls Grooming Club is wondering what happened to some of the lake makers.

The rivers were frozen, endless trails were groomed, and the Yamaha tunes played all day long, it doesn't get any better than that! Thanks for the great ride steiner!
