We did not venture that far west but did ride out from Seney and road to Wetmore. Was going to shoot down south and take the 7-413-41 loop but glad we didn't; although the grooming did help until snow thinned out. When we left Shingleton the groomer was just turning around at intersection of 8 and 41 so on our way back from Wetmore to Shingleton, decided to shoot down to Jack Pines. The trails were getting rocky further south so not sure how 7 would have been. We ended up riding up to Grand Marais and then back to Seney as that is were the majority of the snow is in that area.

Thanks for the info. Looks like on the fun ride unless we get more snow heading toward Grand Marais is the only way to go. If it's too bad may have to trailer up there and do a end of the year ride where we can pit stop at the trailer for food and a drink. (with distancing of course). ?.

Just got back last night from E-UP, stayed in Brimley at the casino, they and pickles had indoor dining. Rode 1181 miles throughout the week, Sunday to Friday, on smooth/groomed trails. Shout out to Chippewa and Soo trial groomers.

Must be nice to ride snowmobile trails. Still locked down to fed 22.

usually yes but i went up to a buddies trap camp about 45 min north around cartier a few weeks ago and there was barely enough snow to cover the rocks in the one trail. usually by now he is on his sled but he was still using his atv as they only had about 12" of snow there. went up on the weekend again and might have gotten 6" more tops. usually there is 3-4' around there. visited grand parents in cartier lots growing up in winter.

Happy new year guys! Can you point me in the direction to find UP trail conditions? Is there an app, website, Facebook group you all use?
Wanting to scratch the UP off my riding bucket list being from southwestern Ontario.
