So have a 2007 fx. Pretty impressed how snappy this thing is on the bottom end and mid range. I know not much topend but didn't buy it for that . So when u punch it now on hard pack it will lift the skis and
Pull pretty good. Does anyone have a ulmer clutch kit and did you see a difference ?

I am running the Ulmer, it seemed to reduce engine braking just a bit. I do not care for the higher engagement of it, it bumps it up a little.

Performance wise yes it is a good choice. More adjustability with the Schmidt Bros clutch kit though.

Overall I am satisfied with it, hindsight being 20/20 I may have made a different choice however.

Just curious if you have the stock track? More power on the phazer is not of much benefit if you cant put it to the ground.

This right here. A 1.5" track will give you a very noticeable performance increase.

I clutched mine but took most back out until i do track swap. Hi enguagement is awful with that tiny ripsaw..

I have Ulmer's clutch kit tuned to my track swap and it was a big difference over stock.
