Pete, I agree trees do jump out in front of everyone once in a while. Where the filter is located if a tree were to hit there you can kiss your bulkhead good bye as well unfortunately.
nb-viper, the oil filter is located down behind the battery and battery bracket in the bottom of the sled.

Looks like a great idea! Just a little hesitant because if something goes wrong then the engine is toast! What do you see as possible issues that could be of any concern? How much testing has been done to make sure there are no issues?
I am glad that this product has come out - I will have one - just need some assurance that I am not jeporadizing a very expensive engine.

Nice set-up! Did you do any kind of flow test to see what rate the fluid was being pumped and were all pressures and flow rate maintained returning to the motor to stock specs after the new system was installed?
The reason I ask is because in some situations adding line footage can decrease pressure and returned flow rate which is not good. Not that this appies to your set-up but did you do any such testing?
