I called Allen to ask him if he had any suggestions on changing weights on the primary if I added 14.5 rollers, but he said he doesn't do testing with those so he didn't know what to change. Does anyone that has his clutch kit, or any clutch kit with adjustable weights know if I need to change any of the weights.

You might consider going with a Y-P-Y primary spring.

Haven't tried it yet but it was a recommendation from Alan because my top RPM was only 8700 due to the 14.5 rollers. He said it should increase it my r's by about 2-300. The 14.5's where a great move though. Now when I snake through some tight trails I don't launch or lurch any where near as much.

Canoehead and I played with this last year and went back and fouth on what we were getting. It has a little more spring rate and less pre load then the stock B-S-B. With the 14.5 rollers it makes lets the clutch engage easier for loading and unloading the seld and around the gas pumps etc. If you have a pipe on it and want to get through town with out having to wack the loud button you can. It also backshifts a bit faster and lets you use the torque of the big tripple. For a big guy (Canoehead and I) this works great. Takes a little out of the top end IMO but you won't get beat to 85!!!

The 14.5 rollers will put more force all the way thru your shiftcurve, more belt squeeze less slip , which will lower your rpm's and shift out so you would have to lighten your tip weight to get your peak rpm back or go to a higher rate spring which I wouldn't do. The ypy spring and 14.5 rollers will lower your engagement. And make the sled much easier to ride slow or break trail with out belt burn but also shift up harder so you will need to remove some weight, if you have adjustable weights that's pretty easy. One gram should change your rpm about 2- 300 rpm
