I was looking at these two exhausts and not sure which one to get. I am leaning towards the Ultra Q because I dont want an obnoxiously loud exhaust. I dont mind a bit louder but dont want it to be annoying. Is the MBRP similar to noice level on the super q?If it is than that is out of the question.
Do you need a programer to run either of these exhausts? (stock sled)

ive had my mbrp silencer for about 3000 miles with no problems,it is alittle loud but sounds awesome when on the gas and at idle, dont need a fuel programmer for just a silencer, and I think you wouldnt need one for a hole exaust either but it would help.

Mbrp has a trail can now that is half as loud as the race can that everyone thinks is too loud. I sold my race can and bought one and it is much nicer. A bit louder than stock and 5 lbs lighter. Part #: 309T209

I'm actually running the MBRP header with the ULtra Q exhaust on it. Don't have a clip of it, but sounds more like the first one on here FYI

Are you sure it's an ultra q you have?
Looks like a super q (the louder skinz silencer) in your youtube vid

I have the Ultra Q on my MTX. I did it more for the weight loss. It is definitely louder than stock. Some days I think the weight wasn't so bad.

Ultra Q is far from obnoxious. If you want a slightly aggressive tone without being too noticeable this is the right exhaust. Never been pulled over for it being loud in NY or Quebec.

Right on Thanks. I think the super q would be too loud and the mbrp is around the same so I will go with the Ultra q. Hope it holds up okay as some people on here have problems with them.

I’ve been running the ultra Q for 3 seasons now and I think it sounds just right. Even on 100 mile + days I don’t find it annoying.
I’m thinking about just doing an under-tunnel soon though using a stainless magnaflow muffler, but this has nothing to do with the sound and more to do with gaining some storage room on the back of the tunnel for longer rides.

I just added the MRBP header to my Ultra Q and it sounds great! Not too loud but a much better grunt IMO. Sled seems fast on the inch of ice on the hill!!

I have a MBRP TRAIL and and it is not too loud, I was afraid it would be annoying or drone on trails but I like it, don't find a whole lot louder than stock.
i have heard that the MBRP race is loud though.
I personally think the Mbrp (stainles steel)is better quality than the skinz.
