I cannot imagine that an MBRP could possibly be any louder than a Cherrybomb. You really need to put a restrictor cap on the Cherrybomb, otherwise it's too loud, and the lack of back pressure creates a hesitation at low throttle openings. Put on cap on the muffler, though, and it gets rid of the bog and makes the volume bearable.
As for a part number, it's 87507. Will bolt right onto your header, but you will need something to support the muffler. I used a piece of solid aluminum, machined to fit the muffler with a large clamp. Was really simple.
Like I've said, my plan is to get a shorter cherrybomb with a u-pipe and have the muffler dumping under the tunnel, facing forward. With a cap on the end, and under the tunnel where it will be dumping in the snow, it should be quieter. I'll let you know the results when I get it done. The 8" cherry was a special order, so it's going to take a few weeks to get.

i got the mbrp i agree with big time.but when you hammer on it you wont find a better sounding one.buy one youll like it
Hindle....way nicer product than MBRP http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwAfcTvqHak Sorry for the poor quality vid. I personally like it better with the noise reducer..it's not as sharp sounding...and without it it's loud.

Can check out what the MBRP sounds like on my 08' RTX via my Youtube Vid.

Personally I like it a lot. Good throaty, beefy sound to it. Some people could probably get annoyed with it on the trail for long rides.
A Friend of mine had one on his sled last year, after I heard it, I just simply had to get that sound for myself.
