I have tried to post a WTB and am told that I have not the correct user name 
and or password. I know it is not incorrect as I can see that my user name is posted at the top of the page. HELP!

Should work since you know your logged in! Try deleting your cookies and recaching your password maybe you tried to post a WTB earlier when you weren't logged in and it remembers it. Delete your temporary internet files while your at it.
