Is there room in the nose of an Apex for an under hood storage bag like the one from a Nytro XTX?

Yes, I have an 09 apex ltx. And IMO its the best storage bag. Out of the way can fit a lot in there the velcro actually works. I hate all the other bags, windshield, tank and especially saddle. Takes away the look of the sled. This one is out of the way and I keep the things I need for quick stops in the storage compartment (smokes, lighter, map) and the things I just need with me under the hood(gun, wallet, registration, food, drinks)

i have it as well... it works great and the install is so easy it makes you think you did something wrong.ha. i agree that this is the best storage place as well. tow rope, air pump, etc.... i just don't think you want to put something real heavy in there, like a pop can, or your tools. a smart buy imo.
They actually make a under hood bag for the apex!

Yep, Here it is. I was shocked as to how much I can get in there. Here is what I have and I still have room.
1) 15 foot tow band with hooks
2) 10pc Socket set (broken down into a bag)
3) Spark plugs
4) Wrenches (4)
5) Candles, matches, first aid kit (small one)
6) Two spare idler wheels
7) Spare set of gloves, flashlight
8) Spare thin liner sweater (very thin - rolledup tight)
9) Neck guard
10) Scredrivers, socket extensions, etc.
Its all packed in nicely but there is a ton of space in there.

That's quite a list! Not knocking it as I assume you do big rides but I am curious what else you carry in your seat storage area or other storage bags?
I purchased one from BBW on here but had no idea it would hold that much

I have the bag. It will hold 12 beer easily, with a towel for dampening. But because my 08 has no rear cooler, machine tends to overheat on longer rides due to loss of airflow to engine. If say you only put 6-7beers in there its not a problem. I don't use it anymore so if some one wants it, the first 40 bucks CDN can have it.
