UP Yamaha Rental

Does anyone know where I could rent a Yamaha in central or Eastern UP?

Putting together a trip, and considering trailering a rental from the lower, seems the only place I can find is in Houghton.

Thanks for the link - they are renting Phazers and 2011 Vector Gt's - think I might go for it - would love to try out the Vector, the downer is Ishpheming is about 7 hours from home, makes for more roadtime than sledtime.

Well, they're in the Central UP . . . We drive a minimum of 7 hours every time we ride. Riding from Ishpeming is very good, lots of choices and directions to go. And I'll concur with Snowdog on how good a shop they are. Fixed my chaincase "right" last year after the local dealer messed up and ruined half my first day of riding.

So who do you guys recommend for a bed in the area? Looks like the best western is nice, and they have some reasonable packages.

If I book at Meyers I'll have to talk him into letting me pick the sled up Friday evening so I can get more ride time in ( They typically only rent 10am to 9am according to the guy on the phone today)

Best Western is fine, has a pool and hot tub and trail runs through the parking lot. I'll be there next weekend.

I believe Watson's Marine in Curtis rents sleds, but I'm not positive on that..

Made some calls- Watson's does not, and neither does the Yamaha dealer in Sault Ste. Marie or Cheboygan.
