For those of you lucku enough to live up north in Michigan, is there any trail riding to be had in either the northern lower or eastern/central UP? Thanks for help, I worry about a trail report that is followed up with "We have rooms available!"

Was in the wester side and they were bad. But it looks like they are going to get snow.

Was in UP last weekend. Put 300 miles on Friday and about 290 of those miles were fantastic. The only bad trails were through the larger towns.

Rode out of Brimley down to Cut River this weekend...trails are great. They have been decent all winter but we aren't telling cause it keeps the traffic down. Hardly any sleds out there.

Is that Duluth in your picture? Am I being Punk'd?

Ran out of Grand Marais last weekend for three days on our RX-1s. About 125-150 per day. Went from Munising to Newberry and down to Seney, before running out of snow. We had a ball. Planning on going back 3.3.

Check out the Bergland Bay Bar trail report. Tom is always brutally honest!

We rode from Seney, Grand Marais, and half way to Munising. Trails were great. Sunday morn was hard, flat and fast. We did see DNR and Sheriff everywhere.

Here in grayling it's not to bad out ...seen and rode a lot worst. Just rode 100miles some off and some on trail ridding

good to hear this im headed up for a sunday to wed tour of the up lol. startn in pine stump and makin our way to the keweena and then back. Should be a hell of a ride and hopefully some new snow to play in everyday.. :-o

We went to the U.P. on February 17th and came home yesterday. Rode 950 miles, 630 west of Marquette and the rest in the eastern U.P.

Until the U.P. gets more snow DO NOT ride the following: Trail 8 - the last 15 miles going to Lake Gogebic from the East (about 5 of the 15 miles were gravel & mud). Also, any trails close to Curtis. There is a new trail coming into the backside of Pine Stump -bad, it will rattle your teeth.

Most towns are lacking snow to say the least. North of Newberry/Seney trails were pretty good. Most areas of the Keewanaw were good/very good.

Everything will be in great shape soon! The UP is about the be battered with a series of major snow events! Winter is about to begin.

Ha ha, I rode that trail on the 21st. I'll tell you with the stiff suspension on the SnoPro, the only way out was to go faster. After what seemed like 10 miles of 12"-16" chop. I just started laughing, to the point that I had to pull over and stop. I just imagined a family of cruisers coming down this trail thinking, this has to end soon! Nope it just keeps going.

They need snow bad, the few warm days took their toll and they need some replenishment in the worst way. The areas that have snow are doing their best to keep it though.
