Yamaha can't possibly set up each sled for each rider weight and desires. It's all a function of individual set up and thats why there are adjustments available to the shocks, clutches etc.

I put Woody's dual runners on my wife's Vector, this stopped the darting completely. I just installed the Skegs on my Vector with the savers and shims, hopefully have a chance to try them out this weekend. The ski savers only make sense to me, raises your skis up so they don't get trapped in other ruts.....just my 2 cents!

These work, 20 mins/ski, to install.
On Attak, I shortened my limiter strap one set of holes and have my coupler set 2 increments above mid and least transfer. I wanted more weight on ski with less ski lift accelerating in corners (less push).
This seems to have improved handling. No more darting.
Snowtrackers add weight I admit but they eliniate darting and do not adversely affect steering--- positive improvement all round.
Hope this helps $180 cdn/kit for the Attak.

I've got an '05 Vector and after I installed Ultra Flex III skis my sled darted and was a handful on trails. Instead of cutting shims I used some rubber ski bumpers off one of my Ski-doos that I had laying around and they really put additional weight on the back of the ski. I also raised the ski tips back one hole, lowered the limiter strap one hole and decreased the coupling on the rear arm to the very minimum. My sled didn't seem to dart like it did before and the ski lift seemed more manageable but would still rear up on tight corners.
My buddies with Polaris sleds said to buy SLP straight line tracking skis as they handle better than the Ultra Flex III's (a copy of the C&A). The said they had problems with ski lift and darting on their sleds with C&A's.
Anyone have or try SLT skis? I don't want to spend $300+ to find out I didn't gain anything.
