No problem keep me posted on your progress and post pics. I was going over my skid today after a ride and noticed I have some rubbing marks on the track lugs at the edge of my track both sides. I think it's from the 3 stock bolts that mount the ZX-2 bracket to the tunnel. I'm going to add another washer to each bolt. When I compress the skid in the shop it doesn't rub but when under load I assume there might be some side to side motion or ballooning. I may have to tighten the track up a bit I run it fairly loose and but I have only ratcheted once .

first impression
Well I just finished with the install and making some initial adjustments. First of all my suspension just collapses when I sit on . tried 2 and 4 with shock preload at five. I am thinking that the shock valving needs some sort of adjustment .with out any load it sits up pretty high

Mine sits fairly high as you can see in the pics. I get some setting of the suspension but it does not collapse when I sit on the sled. I remember Jeff telling me that you can get a stiffer shock for the MNT version. I have my front end shocks set as loose as possible and it seems to handle well on trails. Currently running 2-4 preload 5 with 1500 km on skid I'm about 190lbs ready to ride. I used preload of 4 for the first 500 km until the skid set in.

new revelation
I needed to tighten the track to achieve the full benefit of the suspension. I have arrived!!
Now, if the weather will cooperate. Currently -27 F and abundant snow and sun though.
