So to clear my head, I only have too chose between 2 nytro sleds.
1- Fx nytro 2010, 10000$ Canadian
2-Fx nytro XtX 2010, 10500$ Canadian
They are the cheapest one I found in Canada, province of Quebec.
3-I will put my Zx-2 on one of these sleds. anyone has the zx-2 nytro instalation kit; it is expensive.
4- I also have the bergstrom skegs triple point 8 inches carbribe, whit the ski saver, ski countour and ski shims. This is the most awesome thing anyone can put under his skis there is nothing than can compare to that.
5-Stuff of the phaser that I transfer to the nytro: my zx-2, the bergstrom skegs system, the gas tank bag, side sadlebags, hand guard (they are nytro ones), mirror.
6- I have been told by more than one person that the zx-2 does not work well with a 144 inches configuration, is the truth?
7-zx 2 work better in 121 and 126 configuration, that could make sense since in the tech spec of both sled it is writen that the fx has almost 1 inch more traver than in the Xtx.
8- I just read on this board that the fx modify to 136 was a lot better than the xtx for weight transfert.
The question: I wish to keep the zx-2 because it is a good product, I realy enjoy it on the phaser (it was 136 inches ) which one is the best nytro
** I ride most of the time on trails, but on the week end there is so many tourist that the trail are like a minefield. So my first need is a sled that will perform well in those condition. I realy like to speed up in the big bumps ( like the guys describe doing in the ad boivin zx2 thread) I have a phazer that have the zx-2 on it and in the mine-field trail it is a real pleasure to go in the bumps easily at 60 mph. I change the phazer because I want more horpower.
** When I go off-trail it is to pass where other sled passes to reach homes not too far from the trails. the other offtrail application is just beside of regular trail too high voltage lines, there are nice hills that are fun to climb'n jump when reaching the top and to descend them in a way that you jump a part of the hill then the back of the sled touches the snow first and. So that is my off-trail use.
Thanks again to help me out, I must make a decision this week end , so that I have a sled to ride.

I would recomend the XTX nytro, i have one and i ride both trail and of trails like close to powerlines and such to.
The XTX works great on a flat trail since the last part of the boggie is slightly tilted up and when in loose snow you get good use of the longer track, also really small and close bumps tend to feel less with the longer track.
As for power i find it really good and without the further weight the apex adds, and if you find that you need more power get a 180 hp MCX Turbo kit, runs well with same as stock botton end torq, and great performance once reved up, you got boost al the time sort of.
Long story short, i got myself a 09 Nytro XTX and i love it, if i had the chance to redo my purchase i would still go for the same.

Buy the Nytro, apexes dont like to be jumped that much. As far as the length either will do, but if you get the shorty put that zx2 skid in it from ur phazer and enjoy the power boost. XTX is a great all around sled if you dont want to modify it.

Re: nytro 121 vs nytro 144 (2010) vs apex 2011
Sounds to me that you are really wanting a 136"? If this is the case, I would sell your ZX2 and get a 121 w/rail extensions and a 1.5 Cobra track. I had a 136" with tipped rails on my 2008 and I miss it. We have not had enough snow in Minnesota lately to really use the 144 on my XTX and the rear skid on the 121" transfers a lot better out of the box than the XTX's 144.
IMO: A 136" track on the Nytro is perfect for someone that rides 70% or more on trails. The only reason I own an XTX now is that I was too lazy to stretch a 121 again. I finally got my XTX dialed in now so it's not so bad. If I had to do it all over again a third time, I'd go back to my 136.

3- What would be the best nytro ? the 121 inches or the 144 inces ? I have a A.D Boivin zx-2, I was told that it did not work well whith the nytro xtx 144, that it would be good with the 121 inches nytro. So I am confuse. Need to know the pro and the con of the nytro vs xtx for the use I realy do.
4-When all mixed-up like I am now, why not consider the 2011 apex that have 128 inches track? So for my type of riding wich one of these 3 machines would satisfy me the most the price are fx nytro: $10000 nytro xtx: $10500 *both 2010 brand new and $12300 the apex 2011

Thats too much money for a 3 year old "new" Nytro.
I paid around $102xx for a new 2013 Nytro RTX with extended warranty for 5 years.
I'd go Nytro over an Apex based on your description of how your ride.

Thats about what they sell for in Canada. bought my 09' last year at the dealer with 1700km for 9000$ and for what he wants to do i would go with nytro also. Track lenght is up to you, if you plan on doing trails and trails only I would go FX and if you plan on occasional off trailing in some powder then XTX. But i'm sure a lot of people here can shim in.

Good choice, with what you want to do it's the all around sled I found. It will ride similar to a 121" track because of the tip-up rails and you'll have the options of going of trail also. You'll loved it. Congrats on the buy and welcome to the club
