I have $2500.00 to spend on my sled what is the best bang for my bucks. I am thinking a new lighter skid but would like to hear from any one who has an opinion on this. I sure would like to loose some weight off the monster.

rx1

Look at Kachess builds he has built some sick light weight rx1's that rip on a budget.

I'd spend my money on easy upgrades for reasonable costs! M7 skid($400), BOSS seat($400) are musts! Lightweight battery($100), a-arms($400), ecp filter kit ($200) would still keep you on budget and should have some money left over! Mountain Fit makes an excellent lightweight hood too! Don't forget taller bars for the 03/04 Rx's! Just my .02! Personally, I think I would look at a Holz skid closely but takes a bite out of the budget.

i would go with a moutain mod seat the quality is way nicer then boss.

Holz Suspension - 1450
Exhaust - 80-200 dollars
162 Maverick Track - 600 dollars

Best bang for the bucks right there. will get you climbing extremely well.

I put an Ekholm skid (2200 dollars), a 162 Attack 20 (200 dollars, used with a couple hundred miles), 200 dollar Yoshimura exhaust, and 05 clutching for 200 dollars on and it absolutely rips.

This sled was just over $2000 to modify(including selling used parts) , but already had antiratchets and a belly pan protector

RX-E

Kachess' videos are awesome and gives you an idea of the capability of a lightened RX-1ton

The skid is the best thing you can do to these sleds. Get a 162 skid, challenger track, and the 05 clutching and these sleds scream
