Typical if you buy at end of season say April the dealers will deal on a new sled to avoid the cost of carrying over to next season as not only is there a floor plan financing charge there is depreciation cost. So when they consider this they come to the realization that offering a deal is in their best interest . You may have to travel to find such a deal but I can assure you they will be out there.. Dealer near me would not deal last spring as he had six sidewinders and six Cats and as of last week he still has three and four so now they are all a year older and he is still got them.. Young Sales manager that will learn when they are 2 years old next fall or he will fire sale them this spring.. Either way he breaks even at best and I don’t see how he will make money on these units…
Up in Canada, the prices are even cheaper. I have seen some around $6K CDN which is around $4k USD. I imagine they will get even cheaper near the end of the season. Bad winters, expense to ride and the fact that CAT/yamaha closed up shop are the big factors.
