V-belt clip: standard or optional?

For what its worth, your probably better off keeping it in the front bag. it's a little more work for someone to rip it off. last winter my buddy had one stolen out of his Ski-Doo Rev. There we sat with no spare. This year we ran a bolt with a locking nut through the top of the clamp to make it harder to steal. It sucks that we have to do this stuff but some people get a kick out of taking other peoples stuff.

I"m surprised that it can fit in the front bag. The bag doesn't seem big enough.

For less then 10-15 dollars you can buy the clips and put the belt on the clutch cover, this brings a couple good advantages, now I can keep tow straps, siphon tube, jumper cables and my tool kit in the front pouch, and it easy to get to, as far as thieves go, the Nytro panels are not that easy to get off quick so its not as big of a deal as a normal hooded sled, still mat happen but not as easy.

;)!

Yep I agree with stopdropanroll! Very simple to install the clip on the clutch cover, that's what I did! Belt fits under the panels very nicely, just make sure to mount the clip closer towards the motor as opposed to the outside so that the belt fits under the tapered outer edge of the side panel! Hope that made sense, it's getting late! :drink:

I put the belt in the nose bag. I can use the clutch guard more effectively for other things. Gotta maximize space on these Nytros!

I wouldn't want to put anything really other than a belt on the clutch guard in case it grenades. I wouldn't want my important information being ruined because of a blown belt.
