Hey guys, curious, does the Vector get the same mileage at high speeds or do you find it drops off a bit?

Reason being is that we rode 225 miles at trail average 70-80MPH all day long and the Vector got worse mileage than my RX1. Not really noticable but the Vector would put anywhere from 1/2 Gallon to 1 Gallon more in his sled than I would.

We attributed it to the constant high speed running and having to be on the gas alot more than my RX1 needed it to be. I am just wondering if this was it or does it have something to do with the CDI update.

Good ?????????????????????? about the cdi.. The first few times I filled up this season my mileage seemed worse than last year.. It must have been the conditions.. Because the last two fill ups were back in the mid 18 range..The vector engine has a sweet spot below 60 or so.. The RX seems to be just hitting its stride then.. I wouldn't be surprised if they reversed gas mileage above those speeds. MM.

I rode with an RX-1 last spring in about 35-40* temps. We were running wide open most of the time and in 120 miles he used 1 gallon more than I did. The milage was no good though in those conditions.
