I was planning to change gearing on a Vector Mtn -05 Turbo, I would like a better setup for climbing..what is the stock gearing on this model? I have heard different numbers. I run the stock 151" track.
I have been recomended 21/39, is that a good option?

I'm running the stock gearing on my T-Vector with a 162" track. Works just fine and I've never blown a belt.
Ok, nice to hear from someone with a turbo vector with the same turbokit.
Do you know the stock gearing? I have blown some belts actually, guess it is my clutch, I run the MCX clutch kit that came with the turbokit. What clutch setup are you using?

My sled ran like poop with the factory secondary the first weekend. I've always ran a Hi-Tech ER roller secondary so I put that on with a 48/43 helix and it's worked great. You can put your hand on the clutch right after you pull up and park in the powder. Another good option would be a TEAM secondary clutch, my buddy had good luck with that and we're going to put one on a Nytro this year.

Just wondering if you guys still have your vector turbos I recently got an 05 mcx rear mount and love it! Just wondering if your carbs cough and sputter a little on the bottom end as mine does once it picks up it flys!!?
Thx

Yea, still have it. Looking to sell it but haven't found a taker yet.
