I have to dump the oil in the wifes vector tonight. Seems like an easy enough job but it does have a skid plate on it.
I didnt put it on so I really have no idea where it all bolted too. Will I have to remove the skid plate to take the belly pan off or will the pan come off with the skid plate attached.
thanks.... any special hints to look for?
I notice in the manual it doesnt say anything about putting oil in the filter before installing. Is anyone doing this or not necessary?

I put a skid plate on my Venture..6 bolts ( or screws) to take off the skid plate very easy..Then 5 bolts for the cover and it's all right there ....I just put oil around the rubber ring on the filter....Don't look to hard for the drain bolt , I was thinking it was going to be hard so I was looking all over for this bolt that would be hard to get to and it's right there the one with the orange, copper looking gasket.......Good Luck...
