I was reading threw a post and someone said that the float bowls get pressurized and you should vent them to the handle bars to cure the problem, I want to know who's done this and is it really needed

DO NOT remove vents from under the hood to the handlebar area. sled is jetted for the carbs seeing the under hood pressure, and will be too lean otherwise.

Grader is correct.
Also, you do understand that they are already vented. Right?

yes I know they're vented, I'm just going off of what a guy was posting, he basically said that the under hood pressure messed up the carbs at WOT and the solution was to vent them to the handlebars but you'd have to jet up 2 or 3 sizes, he also stated that he gained a couple mph up top by doing this

The carbs work fine under the hood, for my conditions. Maybe in deep powder you can gain an advantage by routing them up to the handle bars. But, then I would suspect he is right about having to mess with the jetting. Interesting idea for extreme conditions.
