not sure what's going on,we crank the sled and it sometimes give a small backfire but it just wont start, could it be the plugs,or tors,i'm confused, were in quebec at a friends place, its a 2007 venture so no efi,its the carb model, could the fuel be frozen,we dumped a bit of gas line antifreeze, now its going in a heated garage, any ideas would help

Without more info it is hard to help. Check your plugs first arcing second and pilots last.

Do a search for my thread back in october. What happened to me is that the gas line/tank became depressurized. Take the cover off the gas tank and stuff the hole with a rag. Put a small piece of hose an couple inches in the tank cupping everything with your hands and blow into the tank while some cranks her over. Mine started right up. THere also is vaccuum hose on the left side of the machine that you can blow in.

Found my link. Try this.

thanks for the replies guys,we pulled the plugs out and all 3 were wet,now were gonna try new plugs to start, only thing is we'll get them tomorrow only :o| :o| ,if thats not it i'll try the gas tank pressure thing, last resort ,i will pull the carbs and clean them

Instead of the last resort of blowing into the vacuum line, it should have been your first resort. Once you get her fired up, you'll do this first the next time.

finally got it started,we just got the plugs today, installed them and it fired right up,that sled was running the day before, we were out for a ride so the depressurized gas tank wasnt the first fix on my list, all is well now, thanks for the replies,i have so many miles ridden with yammi 4 stokes and its the first time i encounter fouled plugs

Any idea what fouled them Pat, did you not let the sled warm up enough the last time you fired it?

I did notice that my Venture Gt started to act up slightly, so I also checked my exhaust donuts they were shot. So I changed them and it's been great ever since. I never did foul my plugs but it was back firing and idling a bit rough..
