I fired up my Apex over the weekend, sled on the trailer (hold down bar on the skis was tight) with the track raised so I could rotate it some.
Seemed to be some vibration felt through the handlebars-is this normal?
Didn't feel as smooth as my 4 cyl. Yamaha motorcycle.

Once you start riding it, you won't even notice it.

If you had your track off the ground that thing doesn't have any place to put its vibration except to the skis/handlebars. It all goes away when your in the snow riding! Your Motorcycle would do it too just not as much because of rotating mass. Your M/C doesn't have a big clutch and track turning.

I ran mine throught a heat cycle this past weekend an all I can say is S M O O T H!!!!! Only ran it up 5800, but damn thats sweet. Only vibration I noticed was a little play in front shroud that will taken care with some tape around the mounting bar to take up slack. Its going to be a great winter!

Hey XCSP..... I know exactly what you are feeling. These engines do have a fair amount of vibration at low rpm like around 2000 rpm to 4000 rpm well out of the operating range. As soon as you get to 4500+ they smooth out 100% lift it back up and run it up to 5000+ for a moment and you will see.

Thanks Guys, I didn't really think it was anything to be concerned of, but this was different than what I was accustomed to with my previous sleds.
