I have a 2006 Attak and I'm noticing a vibration when going at low speeds.Just wondering if anybody might know what could be causing this. The dealer did change the wheels last year under warranty.

Just had the exact thing. Looked down and one front inner idler is all chewed up. Its going in this week for replacement of all of them.

if you are studded, they can sometimes cause some vibrations in some trail conditions.

No studs.Could it be the belt or probably a bearing?I got her in the garage to get all the snow and ice off.I also changed the belt ,so I will no more tomorrow.ThanksT-Bone said:if you are studded, they can sometimes cause some vibrations in some trail conditions.

If it is something that has just started it could be an indication that your driveshaft bearing is starting to go. The one opposite the chaincase. I notice these don't last too well and change mine every 3000 miles or so. No grease fitting and a harsh environment lends this bearing to having a tough life.

I have a bud with an 06 Attak that had the same thing going on. When I drove it, it felt like a bent drive shaft or bad bearing. Turned out to be the belt. Change your belt if your wheels look good.

The only thing I see on two of the front wheels is a line in the middle. Is that a sign they are going?

I have a vibration at low speed in the running boards at 5,000 rpm, and again at 9,000 rpm in the handlebars. I'll try a new belt first to see if that fixes it.

I've got a vibration right at my feet from the tunnel when spinning 6000 rpms in powder. It's always there.

Check and see if you dont have a bunch of ice built up under the tunnel.
This will give vibration because the lugs hit the ice and rumble.

My front wheels have a little play in them.I can rock them back and forth,is that a sigh that the bearing is going. As well can you just change the bearing or do you have to change the wheel.touched said:I had a low speed vibration on my 07 attack, checked the ilder wheels and had two outside wheels with bad bearings.Gotta love that fit & finish
