Has anyone ever tried videos with a mount attached to your front bumper? How did it work? Do you have video examples? I don't want to spend money on a Go Pro if I don't have to. I have a large windshield and mirrors so I don't think an attachment to my handlebar would work and I don't want to attach it to my helmet if I don't have to. Maybe something like this for a mount?

Depending on your model of phone, Ultimate AddOns makes some waterproof cases that have multiple mounting options. That being said, for the price of the mount and case, you can buy a generic action camera like a FireFly 6s that is the exact same dimensions and similar specs to a GoPro Hero 4 Black. For $50-$60 a person can get a chinese action cam that can shoot 1080/60 or even 4K.
Good luck though.

I mounted a phone mount to my handle bars on my Viper. The vibration was terrible in the video. When your on smooth trails going slow it wasn’t bad. Faster you go more vibration obviously. I would post a video but that phone is toast

I have a Android S8. I just want to attach it to the bumper for a minute or 2 to video in some cool areas for a short time. I don't even know if I would need protection from the elements just for a short run. Maybe nobody has ever tried this from the front bumper? Maybe its to low to the ground?
