You guys are buying your sled´s way too cheap. I bought my ´04 warrior in february ´04 for $ 12500 canadian and the shipment from Canada to Greenland cost $ 1000 canadian and to get it in to Greenland I had to pay costum taxes approx. $ 4900 canadian and that is a total of $$$ 1 8 4 0 0 canadian :o| :o| :o| :o| :o| :o| #$%&* #$%&* makes me wanna cry
So what are you guys paying for your sled including taxes?????

Ernie

Ernie, ma man.....

You might pay more getting that damned piece there, but on a daily use basis, you are getting the best deal there is, save for a few north of the tree line. Since your season begins sooner and lasts longer, you need to measure differently than we 2 1/2 month a year crowd get. So Factor in the time you use, and divide by the enjoyment received, then multiply times the memories you will have when your back is old and your butt is sore and you win...hands down. And don't forget to add in the cost of a winch to get this one ton unit unstuck in that soft May snow.

Thanks guy's, ya I guess for around $8200 for an '05 I mine as well do that. Were your Yamaha dealers giving like a thousand off the MSRP of your sleds?

Yamaha Man, you know what help us help you? Fill out your profile so we know where you are from and where you sled. Some dealer dont want to budge much off list. You may have to be willing to go out of your area a bit. let your fav dealer know that you are determined to get a good price and that you will go elsewhere if you have to

paid $8700.00 us forn my new 04 warrior in november last year. love the sled and find the rear skid very nice (compared to my 97 SX) the front takes alot of tweaking. love the sled, mods include clutching, ohlins and ECP.

I’ve often thought how cool it would be in Greenland. I love the USA and won’t move, but you do have the location, many of us would like to be there riding.

You don’t have Yamaha Dealers in Greenland? Is it all Bombardier?

Typically, the further north you travel, the less people make for an income. For most of us, snowmobiling is discretionary income & many people are unable to afford it. Does everyone in Greenland own snowmobiles? This may be a stupid question.

In Greenland you would need a snowmobile (for occasional emergency transportation), correct?

Ernie, how hard would be to ship a sled up there for a couple of weeks of riding? Then I could fly up and go riding. Would the fees be crazy? It would probably make more sense to rent sleds.

About 4 years ago I shipped (I think it was smuggled really) a Personal Water Craft to a guy in IceLand. (With Homeland security, I wouldn’t think of it today) But there is a guy with the only Kawasaki STX 1100 in Iceland. It couldn’t be shipped there properly due to emission approval & brokerage fees, etc. It would have cost twice as much.
