I wanted to order the hand guards and tether switch but they are back oredered at Yamaha untill end of November I did get the tunnel expandable bag, The custom cover, AND WAIT FOR it .......... The Fox Float 3 EVOL RC2 Shocks so anyone who buys the base model with the coil overs that does not like the ride I will work a good deal on the stock fox float 3's.

Golly Gee I need this thing to show up :sled1: (but in red)
How much for those new shocks? Nice!

Spendy - with my discount they were about $1450 But i figure I can sell the new float 3's for about $500 so $950

Followed your lead and ordered the EVOL RC2's myself!!! Just got off the phone with my dealer...sounds like the vast majority of my accessories are in. Hopefully the RC2's come quick and the XTX comes the same day!!!

I hope your happy with them I hate to think I caused you to spend part of the kids college fund on a boon :jump:

I always ran upgraded shock packages on all of my sleds untill the Pro - R's but could not find anything better than what came on the sled. I had the stock fox floats yrs ago on RTX apex and attack they were ok but lacked a lot of adjustability and lowering air pressure also dropped ride height. Thewe should be different and all of the snowcross teams are running them.

No kids...just a golden retriever...why do you think I can afford to blow $1500 on shocks!?! LOL I think it's a great upgrade especially if I can get $500 to $600 for the stock Float 3's.

Hey now its not blowing $1,500.00 its increasing value by $1,500.00 HA-HA

I just get nervous sometimes I say things and later someone writes back how they did it too and it sucked and I'm a BAD MAN!!!!! :o|

I thought the XTX was come with Fox Float 2 shocks. This from the website:

/// HANDLING
• Durable YVXC clutching is the most reliable and durable clutch system in the industry
• Lightweight, rigid and race-proven SRV chassis
• Fox Float 2 front and rear suspension for maximum personalization and better handling

Of course....read the fine print !!!!

"Specifications, appearance, and price of product are subject to change without notice.

* MSRP does not include freight, PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection), pre-rigging (boats), or taxes. Dealer may sell for less. See your local dealer for out the door pricing."

Interesting..........Yamaha Canada says fox float 2 and Yamaha USA says fox float 3.......what's up with that ???

Just another way they are sticking it too the man!

I think they originally bought 2400 pairs of float 2's then the 3's came out so they gave us the 3's and Canada the 2's HA- HA :moon:

Thats why the pic of the one on the crate in the other thread is in Canada without skis spindles or shocks. They are true air ride!!!!!!

got a set of these for my floats
