Viper aftermarket battery install

I recently purchased a replacement battery for my 2016 viper. Bought it from Chrome Battery online. After opening I noticed the one I received had the posts reversed from the stock battery. I decided to install it anyway. Turning it so it would go in without having to swap the cables . It went in fine except the negative cable sticks up a little high and made it a little difficult to put the seat down easily. Is this ok? Should I be worried about kinks in the cable? Or complications with the heated seat element?
