Viper at Duluth?

In a long history of Yamaha racing clown shows.....what the hell was that? If you are allegedly getting ready for the USXC season, why would you go to Duluth. Davidson is testing on the ice, as are the rest of the serious teams. Anyone with a stopwatch at ERX could have told you in 2 laps, that this was a joke. Why embarrass yourself like that?

My thoughts exactly! The first XC race is on ice, what the heck does sno-x have to do with that? All they accomplished was to further reinforce people's perception that Yamaha's are heavy tanks. I don't know what they expected to learn? You'd think they would have practiced on a secluded sno-x track and used a IQR, Sno-Pro or RS 600 as a comparison model. That would have made it painfully obvious they weren't competitive. I've never understood why the Yamaha snowmobile division takes such a half assed approach to racing?

it was all setup, its a different sled regardless if its the same clutch and engine. They will get it dialed in.

I read in another forum the Vipers were dead last in every race and getting lapped. Was that truly the case?

They did horrible. Did anyone else see the Hibbert lapped every other rider in Saturday's final, including second place?

Wow bummer. Hope XC does better. Really they are what matters most to me long term.

wow, they didnt do ver good even if they are training for xc?the only good thing is ski-doo did suck too almost as much, and yamaha will only race one more :o|
