Viper exhaust gasket!!!!!

$27 for a gasket, if reusable would be ok. But for single use, terrible. Especially considering how much has to be moved to do maintenance on them. Oh well, I still love the ride!

I have used the stock gasket many times. it splits with half on either side but still usable. 26000km on 2 different viper and never changer gasket.

I went to my auto parts store and picked up a piece of metal reinforced exhaust gasket material and made one using the original as a template. It's been in there for 2 years and I've had the muffler off and on several times without any problems and there's lots of material left over to make another one if needed.
