sorry if this has been answered already.
I'm in the market for a new enclosed trailer.
Anyone know how long it would have to be to have a clamshell close with a viper ltx se inside it.

137" is the footprint. It will fit on the 10' but the 12' would be the better option. Better resale.

The ltx has the 137" track length. Not sure off hand on length. But 12 should be sufficient however have someone confirm

@banks93 - I think that's the full circle of the tracks length, not tip of ski to tip of bumper.

Yes, you are correct. My guess is it will be about 118.5" and will just fit. My Vector LTX was 136" track and was 118.5" and the Apex XTX was 144" track and was also 118.5" and both just fit in the 10' clamshell. You will have extra room in the front of the clamshell to inch up skis in it but I would go with the 12' the extra 2' is worth it.irish_redneck said:@banks93 - I think that's the full circle of the tracks length, not tip of ski to tip of bumper.

125" from the Artic Cat website XF 7000
I would think you could fit it on a 10' but it will be tight.
