Viper or Vector

My wife is 136 pounds, 55+ years old and has self proclaimed noodle arms. Two weeks ago we rode with a small group from Lakes of the North just east of Alba, MI to The Casino in Petoskey, MI a 130 mile ride. We left at 1:00 PM and were home by 8:00 PM after having a light dinner in Petoskey.

She was still smiling when we got back to the house, and stated "I'd have killed myself if I'd missed that ride", that from a woman who barely rode 50 miles per year for the previous 10 years.

My wife had a phazer and wanted something new. Went to a snodeo and she tested a doo GSX 900 ace, vector and viper LTX. We sold her phazer and ordered her a 2015 viper LTX-DX. She liked the seating better on the viper. She said the steering effort wasn't that different between the 2 but said the viper handled better and took the bumps better. The DX is set up for a comfortable ride not ditch banging. She didn't like the doo at all. I'd have her sit on both and see what position she likes better. My wife is a sit down rider but still liked viper better.

One thing, the Viper has heated seat... Even though I think the Vector would be a better choice, from a reliable trustworthy sled. The viper would be fine in the trails. Just a little more aggressive. Both are great trail sleds. The Viper will do a lot more. Like jumping and stuff. Either way both great sleds! But in the 7000 miles we have had her Vector it has brought her home every time! My new Viper has failed to do that three times in 4000 miles. With zero turbo issues. Oil issue, belt issue, three weeks in the shop. Vector maybe two hours for the hand warmer.

Thanks again everyone. I am leaning towards the Viper.
