Hey guys i have a 2015 Viper XTX SE. I am looking into stretching it to a 153. My question is, since it is an SE and not an LE, will i have to have a tunnel extension? I have been trying to search and have not found a straight answer. Also, for the guys that did it, but were all the parts you had to buy? looking to run a 2.25 track as well so will I have to change drivers?
Thank you for any input!

Pretty sure that's what NosPro runs. He just swapped rails. Everything bolted right on. Not sure if he used same drivers though. Maybe try PMing him.

What kind of rails are you guys running? And do you need different suspension arms?

The le tunnel is a bit longer then the se...noticed it this winter when I was parked next to my buddies se...we didn't have a tape measure just used a stick to get a rough measurement...not sure if it will matter if you stretch yours or not.

The center shock is also a bit longer on the 153 skid than the 141. Rear shock is the same. Not sure how much this effects the geometry, but they are different. Buddy is in the process of trying to find out just how different in length they are as he is in the middle of a 153 swap as well.

basically i am looking to see if the SE tunnel will be sufficient enough for a 153? i know the LE is longer, also want to see if the yamaha 153 rails will work, so i can keep them blue haha. I will have to look into the shock as well.

Confirmed, center shock is one inch longer on the 153 rails when compared to the 141 center shock. I believe this due to the front W-arm having a higher mounting point on the 153 rails so they needed to have a longer shock to make up the difference. Rear shock measures the same. I cant wait for snow!

Your Correct, the tunnel is longer on at XTX LE. Its actually a MTX Tunnel.
